Sept 2012 Two songs of Adrian's - Dr. Ellis (Instrumental) and Every Mile - are featured in Within Reach, a full-length independent film about sustainable communities across America.
May 2011 Adrian West is featured in (chapter 3 of) Indie Revelations, an online e-book about the independent music industry written by Alex Cosper, creator of the Playlist Research resource website.
February 2011 Adrian West Band's debut album Chameleons and Butterflies receives its first independent review from Indy Music Digest.

November 2010 Dr. Ellis (Instrumental) is selected by Shock Treatment Management for inclusion on a compilation CD to be distributed for free to students at several colleges in the Pacific Northwest.
October 2010 An instrumental version of the song Chameleons and Butterflies is selected as the background music for a promotional video for Twezr, a new iPhone app.
June 2010 Chameleons and Butterflies, Adrian's first full-length CD, is available for sale at shows and online.
April 2010

Adrian's first full-length CD is being mixed by Matt Boudreau at Broken Radio Studios and mastered by Michael Romanowski. It will be called Chameleons and Butterflies. Pre-release copies are available at shows now.

Adrian's song Dr. Ellis is selected as a finalist in the 'Instrumental' category for the 2008 Great American Song Contest.
 

 

November 2008 Adrian West receives a 'Very Honorable Mention' in the Gary Allen Nashville Songwriting Competition
June 2008 The Adrian West Trio puts out a 7-song demo CD
Feb 2007 Adrian West puts on the first in a series of house concerts held at the Doyle Street Co-Housing Community in Emeryville, each concert featuring the Adrian West Trio and one other local act.

Reel of Fortune to be featured on episode #75 of Keller's Cellar (see October 2005 below for more info about this syndicated radio show).

October 2005 A song from Adrian's demo CD (an all-violin version of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean) will be played on episode #69 of the widely syndicated radio show Keller's Cellar, hosted by Keller Williams. Keller has always been an inspiration to Adrian. He was the first musician he ever saw play multiple instruments and sing and beatbox through live samplers to create one-man jams in a live setting. Seeing him do it (five years ago) made Adrian want to do it too. Keller is now an international touring act with a bunch of CDs under his belt.

Adrian was invited to judge the West Coast Songwriters' Association's monthly Open Mic competition at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley. Funny - it wasn't that long ago Adrian was on the other side of that equation!
